Bluetooth LE Audio is a dramatic evolution of Bluetooth "Classic" Audio with better quality and performance for wireless audio, though what's most exciting is that LE Audio also introduces completely new topologies and use cases to enable the next generation of “hearables”-- earbuds, hearing aids, along with other audio devices including microphones, speakers, and IoT devices such as talking sensors. It further emboldens public and private infrastructure to deliver interoperable wireless audio using Auracast broadcast audio.

At Packetcraft, we designed, developed and integrated LE Audio features into our software since 2018, before the company's official launch out of Arm Holdings.

Today, our software is shipping with solutions from both product companies as well as semiconductor companies. Our software enablement of Auracast broadcast audio has been announced in multiple commercial products. This includes products from 2 of the top 5 hearing aid companies.

Available on popular chips including Nordic's nRF52 and nRF5340 and EM Microelectronic's EM9305, and licensed to Synopsys, Packetcraft’s LE Audio software is being used by chipset, IP, and product customers.
